Synopsis
The article looks at the macro design issues for an electric armoured fighting vehicle (AFV).
It examines the type of electric loads present in an AFV.
It considers the possibility of making lighter AFVs and gives out the advantages which electric AFVs would have in a tactical situation.
Logistics and maintenance support of electric AFVs is also commented upon.
